Little girls in India painted patriotic anti-terrorism posters. France's Le Monde conveyed the international mood of sympathy on their front cover: "We Are All Americans." On October 7, 2001, US led coalition forces bombarded the Afghan capital of Kabul, overthrowing the Taliban rule.†
